Practice Simulations
⏱ 10 hoursReading about a hard decision is not the same as making one. Practice Simulations gives you twelve realistic scenarios where you make the calls and see what happens.
Each simulation runs six decision rounds. You read the clues from each role at the table, weigh the trade-offs, and lock in a choice. Two surprise events test whether your earlier decisions left you ready. At the end you get a score, an ending, and a log of every choice with why it mattered.
Three tracks, four simulations each:
- AI, data and technology decisions: review an AI tool before launch, decide what a new app may collect, run a software sprint, and remove barriers from a website.
- Clients, careers and the workplace: uncover what a client really needs, handle a workplace ethics complaint, coach someone through a networking event, and review a portfolio against a real job posting.
- Design, communities and sustainability: interview users before you design, turn forty years of climate data into a plan, prepare a river town for the next flood, and choose materials for a product 40,000 people will use.
Every simulation takes 45–55 minutes. Play alone by reading every role's clue yourself, or gather your team around one screen. Your score saves to your progress automatically.
The scenarios were written for classrooms, so many cast you as a student or school team. The decisions — evidence over claims, people over features, fair trade-offs — are the same ones you make at work.
What you’ll learn
Weigh evidence over claims before deciding Balance the needs of different people affected by a decision Separate must-haves from nice-to-haves under real constraints Prepare for surprises by making choices that leave room to recover Explain why each of your decisions mattered, using your decision log
